Who we are and who you are

WebKeeper is a product of ddz.dev LLC (“we” or “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company at 75 E 3rd St, Ste 7, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. “You” means the person using WebKeeper and, if you use it for a business or for client work, the organization you act for. By starting a trial, creating or joining a workspace, or otherwise using the application, you accept these terms. If you accept them for an organization, you confirm that you’re allowed to.

What WebKeeper does

WebKeeper helps you keep track of the websites and domains you look after and who is responsible for them. It runs public checks on the addresses you add: hourly website checks with 30 days of response history, a daily desktop screenshot of each site’s primary landing page, available for seven days, and domain, DNS, certificate and registration details where public sources provide them. Your team records responsibility, client context and decisions alongside that evidence.

WebKeeper is a young product. Hourly checks can miss brief problems, and attention is shown in the app rather than sent as instant alerts. Public sources can be incomplete, late or wrong. WebKeeper doesn’t replace notices from your registrar, host or certificate provider; confirm renewal deadlines with them.

Your account and workspace

You sign in with a code sent to your email address, and you can add a passkey. Use an email address you control, keep your devices secure, and tell us at hello@webkeeper.io if you think someone else has used your account.

Each person can start one self-service workspace. Whoever creates a workspace is its owner and decides who else joins. Owners are responsible for the people they invite and for the activity in their workspace.

The free trial

A new workspace gets a free 30-day trial, starting when you first enter it. No credit card is needed. During the trial a workspace can have up to 100 active sites, 200 tracked addresses and five people, including the owner and pending invitations. When the trial ends, checks and editing stop and the workspace stays readable for another 30 days. After that, access to its portfolio ends. The end of a trial doesn’t delete your records by itself.

We may limit how many new workspaces can start, pause signup, offer a place on a waitlist instead, or change the trial we offer to new workspaces.

Paid plans

WebKeeper will offer paid plans. Prices and allowances haven’t been published yet, and we’ll announce them before anyone is charged. We won’t charge you unless you choose a paid plan and agree to its price.

Using WebKeeper responsibly

• Add only websites, domains and addresses that you or your clients control, or that you have permission to look after.
• Don’t use WebKeeper to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights.
• Don’t store passwords, access keys or other credentials in WebKeeper. It never needs them.
• Don’t try to reach other workspaces’ information, test our security without our written permission, overload the service, get around its limits or create accounts automatically.
• Don’t invite people who don’t expect it, or use workspace names or invitations to send messages to others.

Checks of public addresses

WebKeeper sends a limited number of ordinary requests to the addresses you add, such as DNS lookups, website and certificate checks, registration lookups and a daily screenshot of the landing page. You confirm that you’re entitled to have those addresses checked this way. We may pause checks that cause problems for a website’s owner or for the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add to WebKeeper. You allow us to store, copy and process it only as needed to run, secure and support the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for having the right to add it, including details about your clients and teammates. Evidence from public checks describes public infrastructure. We may reuse it for other workspaces that track the same address, but never your private records or which addresses you track.

Changes to the service and these terms

We work to keep WebKeeper available and your information safe, but we can’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a significant change to these terms, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using WebKeeper after that, the new terms apply.

Ending your use

You can stop using WebKeeper at any time. To close a workspace, its owner can email hello@webkeeper.io from the address they sign in with, and ask for an export first. Deleting an account on its own isn’t available yet, but we can disable an account on request. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use puts others or the service at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept after closure.

No guarantees

WebKeeper is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about the service beyond those in these terms, including that checks will catch every problem or that public information is accurate. You remain responsible for your websites, domains and renewals, and for the decisions you make with WebKeeper.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, revenue or data, or for losses caused by a missed renewal, outage or change that WebKeeper didn’t detect or report. Our total liability for any claim about WebKeeper is limited to the greater of what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If something goes wrong, email us first and give us 30 days to try to put it right. Any dispute that remains will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we accept their jurisdiction. If you use WebKeeper as a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection of the mandatory laws where you live or your right to bring a claim in your local courts.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about WebKeeper. If a court decides that part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. You can’t transfer these terms to someone else without our agreement. We may transfer them to a company that takes over WebKeeper, and we’ll tell you if that happens.
